The study followed the descriptive analytical approach. The study sought to test the following hypotheses: It can be assumed that wars and conflicts negatively affect Sudan's foreign trade by reducing production, destroying infrastructure, and reducing economic confidence. We can assume that wars may lead to changes in the structure of the Sudanese economy, affecting the quality and volume of foreign trade, such as shifting the economy from agriculture to other sectors. The study reached several results, including a decrease in exports and imports. Conflict and instability may lead to a decrease in the volume of foreign trade, whether due to the destruction of infrastructure or a decrease in confidence in international markets, and a deterioration in economic reputation. The negative impact of the war economy may lead to a deterioration in the country’s reputation in the international arena, which increases the difficulty Attracting foreign investments and stopping commercial transactions. The study recommended several recommendations, including enhancing investment in infrastructure. The Sudanese government should direct investments towards rebuilding and developing economic infrastructure, and enhancing regional and international cooperation by strengthening relations with neighboring countries and international partners. | |
