دراسة أثار إضافة روث الحيوانات في انتاج طوب طفلي قليل التكلفة

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the possibility of using animal manure as an additive in the production of low-cost clay bricks in order to utilize animal waste, reduce production costs, and promote environmental sustainability. An experimental program was conducted in which clay brick samples were produced with different percentages of manure (2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%) by weight of clay. After manufacturing and firing, several physical and mechanical tests were carried out including water absorption, density, and compressive strength. Compressive strength tests were performed at two-time intervals, 7 days and 28 days after production, to monitor the stability of the mechanical properties of the samples. The results showed that the optimum performance was achieved at 2.5% manure content, which produced the highest compressive strength of 6.067 MPa at 28 days. The results also indicated that all samples were within the allowable limits of water absorption according to the Sudanese standard specifications.
